A new European budget fit for our ambitions

A driving force behind European action

Making housing affordable again

Avatar: Lena Panrok Lena Panrok

Housing costs, especially in the vicinity of cities, are hardly bearable for many people. Rising rents, low availability and high construction costs place a heavy burden on the population. Social housing has been neglected, while new construction often focuses on luxury real estate. The consequences: Many have to spend a large part of their income on rent and families come into financial bottlenecks. The prices for building and buying a house are rising immeasurably and many people can and do not want to afford a home anymore. In order to make the current housing market accessible to everyone again, it needs more social housing and a rental price cover to make beautiful living again possible for everyone! Lisa Löckner
