+A Fair Future for All Ages: Embedding Intergenerational Practice in Policy and Community

+At Intergenerational England, we believe fairness across generations is not just a policy ambition, it’s a social imperative. Our new report "A Divided Kingdom" presents a UK-based framework for intergenerational fairness that champions connection, collaboration, and shared purpose across all age groups.
+
+We envision a future where policies are co-created with citizens of all ages, not simply for them. This means embedding intergenerational thinking into education, health, urban design, and social care, ensuring younger and older generations thrive together, not apart.
+
+Our work highlights how creative community-based approaches, such as shared music-making, storytelling, and co-designed local projects, can reduce loneliness, improve wellbeing, and bridge divides. We also call for structural change: from long-term policy commitments to cross-sector collaboration that recognises the value of intergenerational relationships in building resilient, inclusive societies.

+As the EU develops its Strategy on Intergenerational Fairness, we offer our report as a contribution to this collective effort. It draws on UK-wide insights and partnerships, reflecting what happens when communities lead and generations connect.
