A new European budget fit for our ambitions
A driving force behind European action
Budgeting key priorities for the unity and permanence of the Union
First of all Europe must defend its culture, its traditions, its history and Christian roots and of course life and family. To this end, it is necessary to put the birth rate of European citizens at the centre; it is urgent and imperative to invest in increasing the birth rate. Retaining the talent of young people is crucial for the former and of course for improving the competitiveness of the Union; to do so, it will be necessary to make them see and believe in the values of the Union, fighting against the growing anti-Europeanism among the population of the Union, including among young people. European agriculture, fisheries and livestock, which for decades have provided quality food to generations of Europeans, contributing to the health and well-being of the Union, must be at the centre and must be strongly protected against imports from third countries. Smart management of immigration needs to be done. We lack workers in many sectors, freight transport, elderly care, construction; you must go to the countries of origin with certain contracts, bring people to work in an orderly and planned way. This will prevent uncontrolled waves of migrants that unfortunately take too many lives. In this regard, investing in ending the mafias that traffic in human beings must be a top priority. To get an MFF focused on all of this, making a zero-based budget is essential, as well as minimizing spending.
