Avatar Axel Thizon

Intitulé (English)

  • +Easy-to-digest, sweeping, engaging, up-to-date communication, from 1 to 111 years old.

Corps (English)

  • +I'm a Millennial. Way too many times, I've seen messages and publications blaming the Boomers, the Zoomers, or my generation for all of the woes in the world. The young blame the old for ruining the planet when they had a chance to fix it and for voting against the interests of the young. The old blame the young for giving up and being naive.

  • +Meanwhile, intergenerational problems such as global warming, decreasing purchasing power, or rising tensions between the EU and its neighbors are addressed but not substantially improved. Because of slow results in policy-making (national/supranational), propaganda, or fear, divisions between people keep growing. And the enemies of the EU leverage this.
  • +
  • +Therefore, to ensure a fair future for all, where generations are united to confront and work on the above problems, I believe we need easy-to-digest, sweeping, and engaging communication.
  • +
  • +Because while the EU and its institutions have great content makers (dedicated websites, directories, factsheets, Q&As, infographics...), nothing is largely used. Only those with a deep interest in the EU will dive deep and, hopefully, popularize it. I do such work with my website, but I'm aware I can only target those who actually want to learn more.
  • +
  • +A broad public relations office that would work at every level with schools, cities, radios, TV channels, Twitch influencers, and more to entertain, explain the stakes, and act together would unite citizens towards a common goal: a Better Europe.
