Young Citizens Assembly on Pollinators
How do we reverse the decline of wild pollinating insects?
Hotels/breeding booths for wild insects and infrastructure for insects
We should put in place infrastructure to protect wild insects such as nesting boxes for wild insects in many places so that insects have shelter and nesting places, as well as to feed insects in them. Just like wild animals are protected in forests, creating bridges for wild animals. Breeding shelters are relatively low cost compared to such bridges and can contribute to the growth of their population. I propose to create all infrastructure for wild pollinators, ponds, planting flowers of so-called flower meadows instead of lawns.
