The current conception of the figure of the European Climate Pact is almost totally ineffective. The exponential worsening of climate change requires more drastic measures. The current European Climate Pact Ambassadors must become permanent employees hired by the European Commission, with an assigned budget and concrete and measurable objectives to be pursued at the local level.
