A new European budget fit for our ambitions

A driving force behind European action

European Youth Employment Booster Programme (targeted at young people with little or no work experience)

Youth unemployment is a reality in Europe, many young people find it very difficult to access the labour market due to the experience that companies require in jobs, since companies request a very wide experience that they have not yet had the opportunity to acquire, either because they have recently graduated or have only a few years of experience, as a result these young people are not hired or are offered jobs as trainees without any stability. Work experience is a barrier and this is why many young people choose to work in precarious jobs on a temporary basis in a different area than the one they have specialized in. The program is aimed at those young people who want to enter the labor market for the first time and for those who despite having experience in their sector do not yet have enough years of experience (according to the area) to obtain a fixed contract or a position of responsibility. This program aims to encourage companies to hire these young people by giving them wage subsidies, tax reductions and expenses that can generate their access to the market, as well as internal specific training programs in the field of work during their first years. With all this, the insertion of young people into the world of work would be achieved with the aim of achieving a long stay in companies.
