Rules of Participation

By publishing a contribution, you agree to adhere to the values of public debate

  • Recognise that everyone has the right to freedom of expression and to have a different opinion and respect it, in a spirit of listening and openness. 
  • Recognise and accept the values of pluralism, non-discrimination, and tolerance, as enshrined in Article 2 of the Treaty on European Union.
  • Make your contributions with the aim to feed a quality debate with a constructive will. 
  • Do not express any abusive, defamatory, racist, discriminatory views or positions contrary to public order and the law in force. 

Therefore, the following is not allowed: 

  • Attacks or incitement to hatred based on gender, religion, or lack thereof, national or ethnic origin, age, disability or sexual orientation. 
  • Insults, harassment discriminatory statements about individuals or organizations. 
  • Insinuations, serious unproven or notoriously inaccurate statements, disinformation with the aim to deepen divisions in society.
  • Advertising messages and classified ads. 
  • Messages containing personal information that may infringe on privacy. 
  • Obscene or pornographic messages. 
  • Reproduction of texts without quoting their source or of contents subject to copyright is reserved without authorization. 

The publication of any contribution is subject to moderation a posteriori by the Publisher. The platform moderators are the sole judges of the contributions received and reserve the right to apply these rules by hiding messages that contravene them without prior notice or agreement. 

Prior to submitting your contribution, you declare that you have read and accepted the present rules of participation. They may be modified at any time and without notice by the Publisher, which cannot be held responsible in any way for any misuse of the service.
