The Citizens' Engagement Platform offers a concrete way for EU citizens to speak up, share their ideas, join important debates, create an event, and follow Citizens' Panels.

The Alumni Network: voices of experience

The Alumni Network brings together past participants of the European Citizens’ Panels – a diverse group representing all EU countries, genders, ages, and backgrounds. Selected at random, they reflect the true diversity of Europe.

By sharing their firsthand experiences, alumni play a crucial role in spreading the word about the European Commission’s citizen engagement actions.

Citizen Engagement Ambassadors: leading the way

Our Ambassadors are alumni who have chosen to go a step further by actively promoting citizen engagement in their communities. They:

Collaborate with European Commission Representations and Europe Direct Centers to organise events  
Share their stories via social media, local press or public talks
Mentor new panel participants, helping them prepare for their role
Host simulations of Citizens’ Panels to spark local debates
Participate in interviews and festivals to raise awareness
