It's nice to read so many great ideas here, (almost) everyone agrees. But unfortunately, the budget weighs on the problem that support for Europe in terms of defence has more than fallen since President Trump took office. However, as the EU borders directly on crisis zones, it will be necessary to invest substantial parts of the budget in common defence. Our external security must simply proceed if our community is to continue to exist in its present form. For this we should use this platform not to write "letters to Christkind", but to set priorities. We must finance projects for the future that will preserve and even improve what we are allowed to live now for future generations.
