Young people said that for climate action to work, it has to make financial sense. Climate goals should align with being competitive, especially for industries and consumers facing high costs. The EU should strengthen the business benefits of sustainability with smarter taxes, industrial policy, and investment support. This includes rewarding innovation, making clean technologies affordable, and ensuring predictable rules for businesses. How can EU policy make sustainability the most profitable option? And what incentives are needed to drive real change across different industries?
