A new round of discussions
Young people still face too many barriers in the job market
Young people called for fair access to good jobs, pointing out how even entry-level roles often ask for too much experience. They raised concerns about the gender pay gap and the lack of family-friendly workplaces. They asked for a push to give more recognition to vocational schools and better support to non-formal learning and volunteering. Participants with non-European education backgrounds also shared how tough it can be to get fair opportunities. How can the EU make the job market better and fairer for everyone?
