Democracy is in grave danger.

Although it is not a novelty that the extreme right previously successfully used democracies to access power (for example, before World War II), today we see a great difference with those times: It is an organized and widespread movement throughout the West. Thanks to new phenomena such as social networks and other forms of immediate communication, it is possible to create anti-democratic movements worldwide, poisoning any society with hatred, fake news or false democratic parties, no matter how advanced it is. They are known by all what are the media and economic supports that these hate inoculators have. And before them, democracies have to defend themselves, leaving aside the initial innocence and tolerance to the extremes that have brought us here. Laws must be implemented that prevent setbacks in rights, that establish fundamental minimums from which we can fight those who, in the end, seek to dynamite the best system of government we have today. Let's never forget what the goal of far-right movements is: to tear down democracies precisely by using democracy.
