It is important to raise awareness about issues/areas in which hatred is a problem, with a focus on the causes of hostility. In many cases, prejudice, ignorance, misunderstandings, as well as the distorted or incorrect presentation of (potentially erroneous) data play an important role. Promoting and highlighting civil courage could also help counteract hatred in society.
