The European Union has the duty to incentivize the usage of renewable energy sources. In the country where I am from, several dwelling units still rely on exhaustible energy sources such as heating systems based on gas. Hence, it is essential to make one step forward in this direction. At the same time, relying exclusively on renewables can be costly because of several drawbacks, such as intermittency. Hence, it is also essential to incentivize the use of other energy sources such as nuclear.
