Use old mining wells for geothermal energy
The use of old mining wells is not one of the classic geothermal projects with hot water from underground. Wells with a depth of two or more kilometers are characterised by high temperature. Non-traditional geothermal technology is based on the use of dry heat. Old hydrocarbon wells after extraction of raw materials remain unused. The intention is to inject water through the pipe, which will be heated by the surrounding heat from the well, and on the surface the heat will be passed through the heat exchanger to the heating company.
