How can the EU support farmers hit hardest by climate change
Young farmers said they need the EU to provide them with specialised support to help cope with climate change. Livestock farmers are under a lot of pressure, small farmers have little control over prices, and there is a lot of uncertainty about farming’s place in a climate-neutral EU. The EU should provide better access to adaptation tools, financing, and clear guidance. How can the EU balance climate goals with rural livelihoods, and what kind of help do farmers need to keep their farms successful as the climate changes?
