The EU’s competitiveness and its values

Avatar: Official contribution Official contribution

Being competitive and being sustainable don’t have to be opposites. Shifting to clean technologies and energy can actually push innovation. Plus, when companies start using clean technologies early in the game, they get a head-start in global markets. In the long run, this could be a big win for the EU. Pursuing competitiveness by embracing sustainability isn’t just about businesses, it also means ensuring that all EU citizens, including low-income household and young people, can access sustainable technologies like solar panels, EV charging stations, and better home insulation. Do you think the EU can stay true to its values and pursue being more competitive?
