EU values and their respect in the institutions of the European Union

To appease hatred and conflict, the EU must rely on the values that underpin it. I propose to devote part of the EU communication on the values embodied in the European Charter of Human Rights to all EU citizens in a simple e-maillee of concrete examples, through a nice booklet offered to every citizen. Then there is the exemplarite in the respect of these values on a daily basis. Each proposal, agreement, visit of committee members and parliamentarians should be submitted to an independent ethical council to check in advance the conformity of the planned action with our values, for example to sign an agreement with a state whose government does not respect our values should be censored and prohibited by this ethical council and this prohibition communicates widely and in detail with in particular the reasons for reaching all EU citizens. The promotion and respect of our values on a daily basis by our institutions and elected officials will strengthen them. Everyday values should help to strengthen them and to appease tensions and in particular hatred of what is different. For example, if the committee tolerates discrimination against minorities or manifestations of hatred in an EU state, without taking a public position against it and immediately taking sanctions, this is a violation of our values.
