Inclusive training: Antidote to social exclusion and hatred

Avatar: Despoina Saltouridou Despoina Saltouridou

Lack of support for families of children in special education can lead to social exclusion, prejudice and lack of empathy. Promoting inclusive education, together with the creation of a Europe-wide network of information and interaction, can make a significant contribution to tackling discrimination and reducing social exclusion. - It is proposed to create an online platform that will provide: - Information and education on children's rights in special education. - Interactive space for exchange of experiences between parents, specialists and teachers. Education and awareness-raising programmes for pupils, teachers and citizens, promoting inclusion and acceptance. - Campaigns against discrimination, aimed at combating stereotypes and enhancing social inclusion. This initiative is based on the principles of mutual respect, understanding and social cohesion, actively contributing to the prevention of prejudices that often lead to hate speech and exclusion, while empowering families and offering useful tools to improve the quality of life of children in special education.
