A new European budget fit for our ambitions
A driving force behind European action
Improving mobility
The EU has been calling for a stop to combustion engines for some time now. Now it is clear: From 2035, no new diesel or gasoline cars may be registered. However, in order to enable a smooth transition to electromobility, something still needs to be done. The infrastructure for this is simply not yet sufficiently developed. There are many more gas stations than charging stations. In the urban area, this is not too big a problem, as there are some in a small radius, but as soon as you go further west into the more rural areas, you will find very few. Prior to the changeover, large investments should be made in our infrastructure to enable everyone to use their new electric car normally.
