A new European budget fit for our ambitions
A driving force behind European action
Efficient infrastructure for faster and safer healthcare
As part of a group of young entrepreneurs working on a business proposal focused on the efficient provision of medical equipment in the European Union, we propose that more resources be allocated to the improvement of critical logistics infrastructure (roads, rail and air transport). This would allow for a more agile distribution of health equipment in emergency situations, such as pandemics or natural disasters, and strengthen the response capacity of the European public health system. We also suggest the creation of priority and sustainable logistics routes, specially designed for the transport of medical equipment. These routes should have real-time tracking technology and better coordination between the different means of transport (truck, train and plane), which would ensure faster and safer deliveries throughout the European Union.
