Between Lanes and Generations.
As a swimmer I have learned that timing is everything. It is important to understand that power comes not only from strength, but also from rhythm - working with the current, not against it. This is the reason why European Union must find its rhythm. I believe that generations should stop "swimming" against each other and should start moving forward together.
In a world facing climate breakdown, wars, economic uncertainty, we need every voice - every generation. Europe should be a place where we live with each other, not after one another. Of course, generational experiences are different, experiencing war at 20 and 60, for example, are different, but the truth is that everyine suffers either way, so people of different ages need to support each other when we all face the same problems. Both, younger and older people, can benefit each other. It is about remembering we are not alone in time.
