Have your say and have an impact on policy
Let young people vote earlier.
We believe that younger people should be able to vote att the age of 16, because their voices shape the future. We also think that younger people have enough knowledge and experience to be involved in the decisions of the European Union. We believe this because young people are generally a lot more open minded in comparison to the older generations. We also believe that the 5 year gap between the elections makes it hard for the younger people to have an impact on the European Union under their most important years of their life. Because 5 years is a lot when you are young so that some people are not able to vote for the first time until they are 22, which is problematic. With peace and love, Märta, Emilia and Ina.
