Young people worry about the demographic decline and ask the EU to treat population and jobs as long-term priorities by making it easier for young people to start families, supporting workers at every stage of life, and keeping the economy strong. This means: a) improving access to affordable housing to support earlier family formation; b) expanding incentives for larger families (tax benefits, social support schemes, 3+ Family card); c) promoting flexible working arrangements (e.g. 4 days work weeks); d) expanding reskilling and upskilling programmes; and e) leveraging the silver economy. 

Some of these ideas are closely linked to upcoming policies like the Affordable Housing Act and the Quality Jobs Act, which aim to improve living conditions and job quality across Europe.
