Curriculum, complemented by Green Week, to raise awareness on pollinators

Schools could strengthen environmental awareness among young people by introducing a flexible current‑affairs course that allows teachers to adapt topics to evolving social and environmental developments. To complement this continuous learning, schools could organise an annual ‘Green Week’ aimed at drawing attention to environmental issues through activities, workshops, and competitions between schools. Student councils could play an active role in raising awareness, organising initiatives and engaging other students in environmental topics. By combining a flexible educational course with visible annual activities such as Green Week, this approach would help ensure both continuity and sustained attention to environmental challenges among students.
