The EU should provide funding to promote ecological corridors that support pollinators and biodiversity more broadly. These corridors should cover both urban and rural contexts, including the transformation of abandoned buildings and unused areas. Governments and public authorities should take the lead, while Member States, regions and municipalities should support implementation in their local context. Experts should provide guidance on how to best create these corridors.
