Young Citizens Assembly on Pollinators

How do we reverse the decline of wild pollinating insects?

Restore and create habitats for pollinators

By protecting and restoring natural habitats, such as meadows, forests, and wetlands, and creating pollinator-friendly gardens and green spaces in urban areas, we can provide pollinators with the food, shelter, and breeding grounds they need to thrive. This can be achieved by:
- Conducting habitat assessments and developing restoration plans.
- Planting pollinator-friendly plants and creating sheltered areas.
- Maintaining habitats through regular maintenance and invasive species control.
- Providing education and outreach to promote pollinator conservation.
