Education and Clear Guidance for Crisis Preparedness
Education should play a central role in crisis preparedness. Schools should teach students about different types of crises in order to make the risks more understandable and less abstract or frightening. By learning early on what can happen and how to respond, young people can develop confidence and a sense of responsibility rather than fear.
In addition, there should be a clear and accessible information platform providing step-by-step guidance on how to prepare for emergencies. This platform should explain what actions to take in advance, as well as the first steps to follow when a crisis occurs.
Combining education with practical guidance would help citizens better understand risks, reduce uncertainty, and support more effective responses in emergency situations.
