A unified voice in reaction to Geopolitical Crisis

Within the EU, there has been a lack of cohesion in approaches to foreign policy, with different countries sending sometimes contradictory messages in reply to geopolitical crisis (for instance the EU leaders reaction to the US military operations in Iran). Without clear and unified messages, the EU risks appearing fragmented, which can leave it more vulnerable to external pressures and contribute to slower decision-making in responding to foreign policy issues.
A more unified approach to EU foreign policy can facilitate faster decision-making and foster greater consensus on complex policy issues. To address this, policymakers should prioritize collaboration and work toward timely, well-considered decisions that serve the interests of EU citizens when a crisis emerges.
