This is not a project dedicated only to grandparents, but, why not, to the self — dedicated to the continuity of tradition, of education, and even to increasing the birth rate.
Nowadays, many young people are forced to raise their children alone, with great sacrifices. Many young parents no longer benefit, as they once did, from the help of their own parents — now grandparents — in raising their children. Grandparents are no longer involved with their grandchildren due to the same difficulties faced by the young: challenges related to social conditions, education, and especially economic and financial circumstances.

A program designed to create a bridge between seniors who still have good physical and intellectual condition, and who are available and willing to act as grandparents, and young parents who receive no support from their own parents in raising their children, could be extraordinarily beneficial.

A peaceful mother will be able to develop professionally. With the help of a third person, the family will become more prosperous. Let us not forget the child. The education a child can receive from a grandparent, with the wisdom specific to their age, is invaluable. Such a project morally supports the child, the family, and the elderly person. All will feel more fulfilled. The young will receive support, while the elderly will find purpose.

I believe this approach could grow significantly. Such projects could even become part of a dedicated funding line.
