Values and will
In the end, the solution to many of our problems lies in analyzing the root of them. It is positive at least to raise the need for a dialogue between those who have fought and influenced the society we have today, and those who want to improve it and contribute to what will come. And one of the determining factors is values, but much more the willingness to respect them. We live in a society in which the value for which there is always will is money. The rest are, but only on paper. The elders were no strangers to it in their time, but they exercised other community values by balancing. Today there is no balance, and the elderly are only taken into account if they vote in the public sector, or if they produce money in the private sector (residences, medicines, etc.). And young people are not alien or not empathetic, it is that they have absorbed from society that the value of money is above. It must be institutions of all kinds that start by setting an example. Money is essential to carry out initiatives of all kinds. The rich are getting richer and the poor poorer. We need to redistribute and promote the founding values of the EU that look so wonderful on paper, but sadly there is no will to implement them.
