Young people discussed how the EU will achieve its climate targets and keep its industries competitive and innovative. Young people have suggested a few ideas – like closing the productivity gap between Member States and gradually cutting off inefficient fossil fuel subsidies to speed up climate action. They’ve also pointed to tax measures as a way to discourage environmentally harmful companies, both within the EU and beyond. What do you think of these approaches?
