EUROPE DIRECT Land Salzburg invites citizens to come together every first Monday of the month in a relaxed and informal atmosphere to talk about Europe, current European issues and the topics that matter to them.
The "EU Stammtisch" creates an open space for dialogue, exchange and new perspectives. Whether you follow European politics closely or simply have a question, an idea or an opinion about Europe – everyone is welcome to join the conversation

The evening offers the opportunity to:
• discuss current EU topics and developments, e.g. democratic issues
• ask questions about the European Union
• share personal experiences, concerns and ideas
• meet other people interested in Europe
• exchange different perspectives and contribute to an open European dialogue
No prior knowledge is required. The focus is on personal exchange and open conversation in a welcoming and relaxed setting.

Citizens’ ideas and feedback:
During the EU Sunset Talks Salzburg participants are encouraged to share their views, ideas and suggestions on European issues. Key topics, questions and ideas raised during the discussions will be collected by EUROPE DIRECT Land Salzburg and used as input for further dialogue activities and European discussions.
This gives citizens the opportunity not only to learn more about the EU, but also to make their own voices heard.

Why it matters?
The EU Sunset Talks Salzburg aim at bringing Europe closer to citizens and encouraging active participation in the European debate. By creating a regular meeting place for dialogue, the event strengthens exchange between citizens and helps connect local perspectives from Salzburg with broader European topics.
“Europe starts with a conversation – and every perspective matters.”
